Nostra Aetate and the Spirit of Dialogue among Religious Believers in Larantuka City, East Flores

This study analyzed the community interaction in Larantuka City, East Flores with aim of determining implementation Nostra Aetate document and reciprocity between Muslims, Catholics, Protestants. The qualitative data this were obtained from studies on documents interviews sources Protestants living Larantuka. was conducted January June 2021. researcher drew three conclusions study. First, residents are open to accepting acknowledging presence other religions besides Catholicism. Other given liberty express their faith Second, has been practiced, albeit not perfectly. spirit rivalry that grew among Catholics past is turning into a dialogue. Third, “tulun talin" spirit, Lamaholot customs habits supporting those need or helping each other, which cultural background people, serves as way for people equal religious believers inspired. dominant attitudes cooperation, mutual respect, acknowledgment existence all backgrounds attached them prerequisite building human civilization common good.
